International delegates laud China and BRI cooperation at Belt and Road CEO Conference

On October 17, 2023, the Belt and Road CEO Conference was held in Beijing as the starter of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF), which carries the theme of “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity”.

Representatives from 367 companies/institutions of 82 countries and regions, relevant international organizations, and economic institutions, totaling over 1,200 Chinese and foreign business representatives, attended the conference. A signing ceremony was held later. A large number of pragmatic cooperation projects between China and other countries were signed, involving 68 countries and regions and multiple fields such as infrastructure, clean energy, AI, biopharmaceuticals, financial services, modern agriculture, and rail transit.

The number of projects, countries involved, and the value of contracts signed have far outperformed the previous Belt and Road CEO Conferences, fully demonstrating the fruitful results of the global business community, and their strong commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative as well as its bright prospect going forward.
